AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION REPAIR SERVICES
OVERVIEW
Auxiliary Systems HVAC&R division is available for emergency and non-emergency repairs to shipboard air-conditioning and refrigeration systems; not to exclude Galley under-the-counter refrigerated & standalone equipment. ASI HVAC&R division is proficient in completing tasks/under stressful non-scheduled time frames where our competition has a hard time completing. We’re qualified to service all major HVAC&R equipment and components. Service requirements may include overhaul, repair, testing, and adjustments, including planned and preventive maintenance; compressor overhaul and condenser/chiller refurbishing, electrical control troubleshooting, and repairs of water regulating valves (WRV) and cold-water circulating valve (CWCV) overhaul. ASI HVAC&R is available for surveys on operational and non-operational equipment. We specialize in locating “as-built design faults” and recommending solutions.
CAPABILITIES
- Service and repair HVAC systems aboard all military and commercial vessels. Our technicians are trained and certified by the following OEM manufacturers
- Carrier Transcold; marine open type (reciprocating), centrifugal, screw, scroll, and semi-hermetic type HVAC&R systems
- York (JCI); centrifugal, rotary, and open type HVAC&R systems
- Dunham Bush; belt driven low-pressure compressors & CO2 systems
- Sabroe; open drive and screw compressor HVAC&R systems
- Bitzer; semi-hermetic, open type, and screw HVAC&R systems
- Cospolich; galley refrigeration systems (under-counter freezers, refrigerators, cold food counters, and thaw boxes)
- DRS Marlo Coil Systems; A/C fan coil units, ships stores chill/freeze fan coil units, walk-in boxes
- Mitsubishi City Multi; Mini-split heat pumps and A/C equipment
- Scottsman Ice Systems; ice machines, flakers, refrigerators, and freezers
- Service requirements may include overhaul, repair, testing, and adjustments, planned and preventive maintenance, compressor overhaul, condenser/chiller refurbishing, electrical controls troubleshooting and repairs, water regulating valve (WRV) overhaul, and cold water circulating valve (CWCV) overhaul
